9/25/2004 :: And so, we begin the very last episode of the Rockman.exe Axess series. Episode 51 is entitled "Hikari Todoku Basho", which translates to "The Place Where Light Reaches". Enjoy. :)
It starts right where Episode 50 left off, and introduces us with a shot of the entire world covered by the gigantic Dimensional Area. Shademan and Dr. Regal face each other at Regal Tower, while Netto and Enzan watch from the street below.
Rockman speaks up from Netto's PET, mentioning that he can feel the anguished pain of all the navis being used for energy by the multitude of Dimensional Converters. Meanwhile, Shuryou is still watching silently from a rooftop, unnoticed.
With a furious, "Let's go, Regal!" Shademan leaps from his position, flying straight at Dr. Regal. As he does so, Regal holds up something in his fingers: a Dark Synchro Chip! Regal retreats into his mechanical throne, and slots the chip directly into it. The resulting transformation reveals R Laserman in his place! (he glows in the dark! heehee)
As Netto and Enzan get over their initial shock, Shademan doesn't hesitate for a second as he launches a full sized train at his opponent. Laserman easily destroys it with a laser beam before it even comes close, but the distraction allows Shademan to scewer him directly through the back with his claws.
Shademan states that because he is still human, Regal will die easily. Punctuating his words, Shademan drives his other hand straight through Laserman once again, now holding him up in the air. However, Shademan has made a very grave mistake. Very grave indeed.
With a whole lot of creepiness, R Laserman rotates his head 180 degrees so he's looking right at Shademan. As Shademan reels back in surprise, R Laserman fires a shot which cleanely severs the Dark Loid's right arm right off his body.
R Laserman breaks free of Shademan's grasp, and uses an Area Steal to quickly teleport and slam Shademan into a stone wall. Stating that this plan of his is his lifelong dream, R Laserman grabs Shademan by the throat, and lifts him off his feet. Shuryou finally gets bored with watching battle, seeing that his faith in Shademan to disrupt Regal as been stamped into dust. And so, Shuryou turns around and teleports away.
Shademan struggles to breathe, and slams his fist into Laserman's head, yelling at him to stop. The faint effort only results in greater pain as R Laserman grabs that arm and forcibly rips it off. (zomg O_o;) Shademan screams in anguish, and Laserman finally says that he'll delete him for real this time. And so, Laserman powers up his very own...laser, and drives it straight through Shademan's middle, doing just what he promised. Deleting him.
Enzan and Netto still watch from below, horrified by the brutal tactics used by R Laserman. Yuuichirou drives up in a van, ushering the boys to get inside. They do so, and quickly flee from the scene, making their way back to the Science Labs. As they leave, we see a glimpse of Dr. Regal's face inside of R Laserman, which is half covered by robotic wires and metal.
Search Soul Rockman uses his scope gun to investigate the inner workings of Regal Tower. A digitized 3-D model of the tower appears before them as they work inside the Science Labs. Netto notices a red ball of light towards the top of it, and asks what it is. Yuuichirou responds that it is most likely the Energy Core.
Yuuichirou explains that this Energy Core is powering all of the Dimensional Converters within Regal Tower, which in effect has created the Dimensional Area covering the world. Netto wants to go straight in and destroy the core, but Yuuichirou reveals that it may not be so easy. That's because the core is protected by a very powerful firewall.
Suddenly one of the lab assitants blurts out "There's trouble! Ameroupe is under attack by Laserman!" Sure enough, Laserman has gone Godzilla on the once peaceful city of Ameroupe, destroying absolutely everything in his path. The assitant then reveals that Sharo and Kingland have also been assaulted.
An army of tanks try to take the giant rampaging navi down, but they have no effect whatsoever. R Laserman easily destroys these as well, and continues his warpath through Creamland and Namaste. Inside the Science Labs, the viewing moniter shorts out, and Laserman's image appears.
Directing Yuuichirou's attention, Laserman holds up four Synchro Chips in his hand. As he infuses them with a dark aura, a giant replica of Laserman appears in front of Regal Tower! R Laserman walks up behind it, and is absorbed into the huge mechanism. Laserman now begins his final assault on Japan.
Netto turns to his father, pleading that there must be -something- that they can do. Yuuichirou ponders the possibility that they could create a security hole in the firewall, then destroy the Energy Core via inside the internet. (Much like how Shademan reached the Science Lab's server in the last episode) A lab assistant interupts their discussion as he reports that Laserman is making a path directly for the Science Labs!
With no time to waste, Netto runs off on his own, telling his father that he'll stall Laserman long enough for them to reach the Energy Core. Meanwhile, Enzan is silently watching over a life-sized projection of his navi Blues, who is still unconcious.
Netto quickly skates towards Laserman, who is easily found by the loud noises and explosions of destruction. (Not to mention that he's like a giganto stomping night-lite) Inside the labs, Enzan calls out Blues' name, which causes the navi to slightly twitch his hand. With a very feint "Enzan....sama...", Blues turns his head, and smiles at his operator.
Netto takes an elevator up to the very top floor of a building, so he can confront Laserman face to face. During this time, Netto surprisingly slots in most of his Soul Unison chips into his PET. Rockman is obviously worried by this decision, as he says "Netto-kun....those chips are..."
It will take a great deal of Netto's strength to succesfully use a Soul Unison while in Cross Fusion. However, Netto realizes that he'll need every shred of power he can get in order to survive this battle. Netto finally reaches the top, and performs Cross Fusion with Rockman. During the light of transformation, we see the symbols of the soul unisons fly into him.
Laserman clamps his fists together, and crushes them down upon R Rockman. The giant navi becomes surprised however, when a Metal Soul R Rockman flings his fists away, completely unharmed! Laserman summons down a barrage of meteors from the sky, but Fire Soul R Rockman easily destroys them with the Fire Arm attack.
As R Rockman reverts to normal, he's already out of breath from the strain of using the Soul Unisons. Refusing to give up, he then uses the Thunder Soul to cast an Elec Beam at Laserman's feet, causing him to stumble and fall to one knee. Netto keeps gasping for breath, but says"Rockman...the Soul Chips are a success!" Rockman retorts that even so, Netto's strength is rapidly decreasing.
Despite Rockman's warning, Netto activates the Scope Gun, transforming into Search Soul. With Laserman imobilzed, R Rockman tries to target on to him, but keeps losing his focus as his vision goes blurry. He finally does lock on, and fires a shot directly at Laserman's chest. Unfortunately, the attack doesn't even scratch him.
Muttering "No way...", R Rockman finally collapses. Seeing that he has the upper hand, Laserman belittles R Rockman's abilities to defeat him. With the fight over, Laserman raises his fist, and goes in for the kill as he yells "Die!"
That is, until Laika zooms in via helicopter, and smites Laserman with a launched missile! Not only that, but R Blues jumps in with an Area Steal, and rescues R Rockman to a safe location! Laika leaves as quickly as he came, and R Blues leaves R Rockman laying on the ground as he determindly says, "Lets go, Blues!" His navi responds with a healthy, "Yes, Enzan-sama."
Before he leaves, R Rockman quickly tells Enzan to wait. However, both Enzan and Blues have a score to settle with the Dark Loids. R Rockman can only watch as R Blues leaps off to confront Laserman head on. Meanwhile, at the Science Labs, Yuuichirou is frantically searching for the IP of Regal Tower. When he attempts to make a security hole, it utterly fails. Yuuichirou slams his fist down onto the console in complete frustration.
Yuuichirou regretfully says that it's all of no use, all but ready to give up on the operation. That is, until Laika arrives to pull them out of a jam once again! With the aid of his navi Searchman, he should have no problem in tracking down the IP. They also reveal that behind the firewall, an entire army of viruses will be awaiting them. No problem! All of Netto's friends have also arrived to help in any way they can.
And so, the plan to destroy the Energy Core has begun! Sporting a brand new and very nifty plug-in sequence, Laika is the first to transmit his navi into the internet. Meiru, Dekao, Tohru, Yaito, Shuuko and Higure all follow him soon after.
(From now on, the scenes will be switching back and forth at a very quick pace. I will try to make everything as clear as I can.)
R Blues has begun his battle against Laserman, as he attacks with the default "Sonic Boom!" Unfortunately it still has no effect on him, and R Blues is quickly running out of energy. Knowing that both Enzan and Blues are in no shape to be battling at this extreme, Anetta rushes her way towards the battle area, carrying the Battle Chip Gate.
R Rockman still lays motionless on the ground, obviously frustrated that he can't pick himself back up. With a shaking voice, he clentches his fist and mutters Enzan's name. R Rockman tries to get back up to his feet, but immediatly collapses without even taking a single step. Netto utters a curse as he falls flat on his back.
Inside the internet, Searchman uses his scope gun to lock down on the IP for Regal Tower. Sure enough, he finds it all too easily. As soon as he locks on, he quickly fires off two shots from the rifle, just as Yuuichirou activates the lever to create a security hole. This time, they're successful! All of the navis rush head on into the hole, to find the energy core. However, as soon as the reach the other side of the hole, they're confronted by a massive amount of viruses!
R Blues is forced to constantly dodge Laserman's attacks, then decides to give it his all in a Program Advance. Activating the Flame, Elec, Aqua, and Bamboo swords, the Elemental Sword PA is called forth! R Blues leaps up and strikes Laserman directly in the head, but the giant navi is STILL left without a scratch!
Laserman's visor reflects a glint of light as he prepares to counter-attack, while Anetta keeps running, yelling out to Enzan. R Blues watches with a "deer caught in the headlights" kind of expression as Laserman holds out a hand and charges his final assault. Sure enough, R Blues is caught in a direct hit, and is forcibly flung back and smudged into the ground. Anetta arrives just in time to see R Blues skid to a halt, and stands stock still with a horrified expression. She finally loses her composure as she screams out Enzan's name.
Meanwhile, in the net, all of the navis are trying their best to clear out the viruses blocking their way. Searchman summons a pair of Satellites to destroy a few (FINALLY. Such a cool attack. :DDD), while all of the other navis fling off their default attacks. However, even this is not enough to clear them all away.
Just when things look bleak, a crashing "Thunder Bolt!" streaks down from above, deleting a huge number of viruses! Searchman is overjoyed to see his once-time partner Thunderman arrive. Meanwhile, Iceman just barely manages to delete a pint-sized mole virus. The overexerted effort makes the eskimo navi stumble over, and so Aquaman rushes over to help him up. Suddenly, the two find themselves confronted by a much bigger Gaia virus!
Before the hammer can smash down upon them, Bubbleman comes out of nowhere and deletes it himself! Bubbleman's not the only surprise....Junkman has returned as well! With the aid of all their friends, they finally gain the upper hand on the massive army of viruses.
During all this time, R Rockman still lays unmoving on the rooftop. As both Rockman and Netto calmly lay under the night sky, Rockman once again feels the presence of all of the navis who were sacrificed for Nebula's Dimensional Converters. A soft golden light begins to shine down from the stars in the sky, radiating down upon R Rockman. Among the rays of light, voices calling Rockman's name can be heard.
Rockman says that he can hear their voices....and after a moment, so can Netto. The brightness radiating upon R Rockman intensifies, and he raises his hand into the light. "Power....we both have the power. The power....to defeat Regal!" Clentching his fist, a single beam of white light fires straight into his navi symbol. R Rockman slowly reopens his eyes, which are full with determination.
Laserman is quickly approaching the Science Labs, with the full purpose to finally destroy Hikari Yuuichirou. Those inside quickly activate a Dimensional Area to form a protective shield around the building, but Laserman easily rips it apart. Taking the few final steps, Laserman is now within striking range of the main building.
Being so, Laserman raises his fist, prepared to delve the final blow. However, a shot from a scope gun suddenly stops his attack, and completely destroys his left arm! Laserman stumbles back a few steps, exclaiming, "You are....Rockman! Hikari Netto!" As if to confirm his words, R Rockman fires again, this time severing off one of his giant antlers.
From inside the Labs, Meiru is overly happy to see that Netto is alright. Meijin reports that Rockman and Netto's synchro is off the charts, which is emphasized when his computer screen explodes. Yuuichirou suddenly realizes just what has happened....Rockman and Netto are in Full Synchro! Indeed, R Rockman's entire body glows with a very soft light, radiating the power of those who believe in him.

At the beginning, the bell echos to let you know,
That it's just a matter of change,
From a terrible yesterday.
R Rockman flies in with his fist bared, landing a direct hit with Laserman's symbol, and causing the navi to grunt in pain. Wasting no time, R Rockman nimbly runs up Laserman's body, leaping off to land yet another devastating hit right to his head.

It's all right, since you're here next to me,
I'm not alone, and that's what'll awaken my courage.
He then jumps back to activate a Neo Variable Sword, but finds himself caught in Laserman's giant fist. Before he can even attempt to crush him, a bright light erupts from inbetween his fingers, and R Rockman bursts free, destroying his entire hand! Meanwhile, Anetta helps a de-cross fusioned Enzan get back up to his feet, as they both watch the battle commence.

This sullen sky dazzles so,
It's so bright that I feel as if it's the sun.
Hovering in the air, R Rockman flings off a "Sonic Boom!", which throws Laserman completely off his feet! Inside the net, Thunderman uses his "Elec Beam!" to clear a path for Searchman, who must find and destory the Energy Core. Searchman quickly runs off, climbing a number of flights of steps as he heads directly for the core.

I'll share this with you, the joy of my hopes,
This cross holds the deepness of our bond,
The future and the present join together with this puzzle.
Sure enough, as Searchman arrives at the very top, he finds the Energy Core radiating right in front of him. On top of the rooftop, rays of light are still pouring themselves into R Rockman, allowing him an infinite amount of power. R Rockman raises his right fist, and forms the Rock Buster on his arm. Everywhere around the net, navis are glowing and calling Rockman's name.

Our hearts are connected for our dream,
I'll become the proof!
R Rockman pauses for a moment as he radiates in the spiral of golden light flowing around him, absorbing every shred of power being offered. As he gains full strength, R Rockman raises his buster for a final "Charged Shot!" attack, just as Searchman prepares his rifle. Shown side by side, the two blast off their attacks at the same time, yelling "GO!"
Consecutively, R Rockman's shot drives itself directly through Laserman's middle, leaving a gaping hole. Likewise, Searchman's rifle strike completely and utterly destroys the Energy Core! Laserman bellows out with a mighty scream of pain, his entire body beginning to fall apart into millions of pixels. The once leader of Nebula finally explodes, taking Dr. Regal out with him.
And so, with the Energy Core now destroyed, the world is finally freed from the Dimensional Area. Everyone is safe, and the world is alright once again! Some time later, Netto and his friends stand on a balcony outside, watching a beautiful meteor shower (dun dun dun).
Meiru folds her hands in front of her, making a wish on the shooting stars. Or at least she would be, if Netto was making such an excited fuss and proding her repeatadly. Meiru asks why doesn't he just make a wish, but Netto retorts that he doesn't believe in that kind of stuff.
Inside the net, everyone's navis have gathered. Suddenly, a very familiar "puku" is heard....it's Bubbleman! Not only that, but he's carrying a bubble with him. Inside of it is none other than Rush's data! Bubbleman apologizes with much sincerity, and returns their old friend to them. Both Aquaman and Iceman are happy to just meet up with Bubbleman again, whom he had befriended some time ago.
However, the navi who was once a Dark Loid isn't quite ready to gain so many new friends yet. With a quiet "goodbye", Bubbleman quickly takes off on his own. Rockman and the others happily wave him goodbye, knowing that he'll be causing no more trouble in the future. (ZOMG Blues is smiling XD)
Back in the real world, Netto suddenly blurts out "Now!", and folds his hands, repeating a wish over and over. Meiru just smiles in amusement, while everyone else breaks out laughing. The scene pans up from a shot of everyone, to up in the sky, where we can see a HUGE meteor. (This will be the leading factor that will bring us into Stream. IE: Duo.)
The camera pans down from the sky again, bringing us to an entirely different location. A woman in a long black trench coat, with long brown braided hair, stands in front of her yellow sports car as she watches the meteor shower as well.
This is when the ending credits begin. :) Instead of showing the usual credits, they decided to give us a variety of scenes involving all of the cast members. ^_^ Squee!

That's all there is, folks! I was immensly surprised by this episode, I had thought it would be entirely centered on Shademan. Imagine my surprised when he was deleted in the first five minutes. XD Overall this was an outstanding ending to this very unique and wonderful series. And so...I will see all next week, as Rockman.exe Stream begins! Don't miss it!
