Laika/Searchman Cross Fusion Version 2 Episode Premiered In: Episode 1, "Beyondard" Following Appearances: Episodes 2 Activation: Rockman.exe Beast is the 4th new series of Rockman to debut, and with it comes a brand new toy, the Link PET. This special new brand of PET keeps Laika's Cross Fusion design the same, but it also adds one very important feature: the ability of flight. Laika gains a very powerful jet booster on his back, allowing him to now battle just about anywhere. Special Attributes: Like in Netto and Enzan's case, Cross Fusion can only be initiated when Laika's surroundings are covered by a "Dimensional Area" dome. This feature merges both the net and real life together, thus allowing navis to transfer to the real world. Cross Fusion allows Laika and Searchman to merge into one being, and fight together. Gained Attacks: Laika still uses Battle Chips as usual, which are slotted into his PET before he initiates the Cross Fusion transformation. However, Laika actually gains many default attacks that are usually attributed to Searchman. These include Scope Gun (which can also be charged to be more powerful), Search Grenades, and the ability to cloak himself to the point of invincibility. Disadvantages: If Laika and Searchman are ever arguing or not getting along together, Cross Fusion is not possible. The Operator and Navi MUST be in perfect harmony in order for the transformation to take place. Also, since Laika and Searchman merge, this brings Laika's body into possible danger, which cannot be repaired like a Navi's data.
